After the last WP update 5.3.2, things go wrong with the Tempera theme. The empty space that normally comes under a gallery has disappeared and the text or another image has been added to the gallery, so without empty (line) space.
It can only be edit under text (normally visually) by manually entering the code:
Not handy if you use it a lot!
See URL below, please scroll down a bit to see what i mean.

Thanks for your answer, but do I have to remove those 2 highlighted lines to fix the gallery space problem in style.css
I would really appreciate if you can answer me as soon as possible.
Weird, I haven’t made any changes to that at all.
Sincerely
Ann

I’m using the default gallery from WordPress. This went well until the last WP update 5.3.2 of December 2019.
You can only change the height and width. First i changed the height and then the width, both in different sizes, unfortunately without results.
Kind Regards,
Ann
March 19th, 2020 at 20:28 #100225ZedCryout Creations mastermindThat may be how the WordPress team intended for the (new) galleries to look.
We’ve long learned to avoid styling core elements too much in the themes as they can change periodically. And that’s been worse since the new block editor.

I have been convinced from the beginning that the problems are due to WP 5 version. You are right since version 5 it has changed a lot.
I’m not using Gutenberg, because it also removes all blank lines between paragraphs. From all 715 posts!
Do you have any idea what to do about it? Any suggestion would be very welkom.
Thanks a lot!
Ann
