Hi there,
just started to create my homepage. It’s at the very beginning. This guy here is using the same Fluida Theme https://solokayaktohawaii.com/
Somehow he has set a big image as header image on the homepage (start page) and on the other pages (“About” and so on) a much smaller picture (in height).
Can someone describe me how this can be done? Many thanks!

In Fluida, the homepage/landing page banner image and the general header are different elements which can be configured separately (with different images and different heights).

But I still have to sort out some things.
To create this static landing page I have created two new pages: one empty (Home) and one with content. As it is said in the customizer description. If I want to get both together I get a WordPress Sample Page.
At least I have separate banner and header images now (-;.

The theme extends this existing functionality through its landing page feature, which allows additional special content on the homepage beside that one static page, and even allows you to disable the static page’s use entirely (in which case a blank homepage can also be used; but note that the page’s properties such as title will still normally be used for meta/SEO purposes).
