Hi!
I wanted to link my YouTube, Twitter, DeviantArt and Ask.fm Account (and another of my website) as social icons. First I used a plugin with custom widgets (SiteOrigin Widget Bundle to be exact), but since I liked the animation of the social icons coming from the theme itself, and I couldn’t place the widget over the title anyway (without a lot of coding), I chose the Verbosa social icons. I knew that there probably won’t be custom icons since it worked with a menu, and I also realized that there isn’t an icon for Ask.fm.
But I knew that DeviantArt definitley has or at least had an icon, but it didn’t show up. I didn’t want to have the same icon twice (other website and deviantART), so I looked for a solution, but couldn’t find anything on the internet.

Long story short:
The deviantART Social icon shows up without it’s icon.

I can only guess why this is happening. Maybe it’s because deviantART uses ‘username.deviantart.com’, a subdomain to link to a profile and not like e.g. Twitter does with ‘twitter.com/username’. I have no idea if this is connected, I’m just randomly guessing.

While the theme features plenty of social icons, Ask.fm and deviantArt are not among the list of supported icons. In this case, the theme will display the default ‘link’ icon for that social item.
