Is there a way to customize the sidebars so that certain widgets only show on certain pages? For instance, on my blog pages I want the Search bar, custom menu, categories, recent posts and archives. But on my Links page, I only want the Search bar, and Custom menu. Is this even possible?

Jetpack pluggin offers sidebar visibility for widgets where you can choose on which pages your sidebars will show.

Yes, Jetpack’s new visibility functionality is actually better.
Too bad it didn’t yet exist in June 🙂
