I am getting black bars on either side of my Vimeo embedded videos that I would like to get rid of.

Can anyone help me with this, please?

Your first video has left/right bars, the next two have no bars, the last one has top/bottom black bars – this points out that the videos themselves have the bars (due to different size compared to the embed aspect ratio).
