Hi.

Love your theme. A quick question… on the comment section just right below “Leave a Reply”, the text there reads “Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *”. Is there a way to customize this section or line of text? If there is. can you please let me know how to do it?

I am seeking an answer to the same exact question. I know that somewhere there is a ‘comment_form()’ php function, but I cant seem to find it anywhere in the editor.

Although it may not seem like it this is more of a WordPress thing rather than a theme issue and it can get pretty complicated for a novice user.

Here are details about the WP comment_form() function http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/comment_form

Anyway, in Tempera all comment related functions are found in the /includes/theme-comments.php file. If you’re gonna try and edit anything remember to backup your files and use a child theme.

We are considering making these editable fields in a future update.

The “Leave A Reply” Cannot be shut off. Why? I’ve spent hours looking at php settings in the editor. This is absurd. I simply want to shut off comments or replies on a page. Why is that so hard?

@Mike Actually that’s not hard. And it’s not theme related- it’s general WordPress. A simple google search would provide dozens of answers. We also have a short tutorial about this: http://www.cryoutcreations.eu/wordpress-themes/wordpress-tutorials/wordpress-disable-comments-tutorial . A simple search on this forum would also provide you with the answer you need.

This topic is also not about hiding the comment form so you’ve pretty much posted in the wrong place.
