Apparently this is something I need to do through the theme. Currently, my blog layout looks like this http://ahopeafterdivorce.com/blog/

I want to change it to http://demos.cryoutcreations.eu/wp/roseta/2017/11/06/sidebar-left/ with the sidebar on the left.

The blog section (and most multi-content site sections) follow the theme’s general layout, as set in the options.
Individual pages and posts can have different layouts by using the layout meta options.
Additionally, specific site sections can also use a different layout than the general one through the use of the respective options.
