right now above the comments it says “leave a reply” I wanted to change this. I cant seem to find it in the comments.php or the theme-comments.php

Is it somewhere else? has anyone else had any luck locating this?

That’s because that line of text is from WordPress itself. You may be able to change it using translations… from English to English 🙂
