April 22nd, 2016 at 04:15 #36508Gary Fulgham I want to change the content area to a background. I am not having much success. I did find some code for custom CSS but it is not working. I suspect I am doing it wrong. Here is the code: #main { background-image: url(…); } Here is the URL to the background I want to use.: http://lotto.nichegoldwebsites.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/parchmentbg-1.jpg I pasted the code into the parenthesis (…) above and pasted it into the custom css area with no effect. I would appreciate some guidance. Gary

I think I am going to get rid of Parabola and find a theme that is not so controlling and not such a nightmare to work with. Gary May 5th, 2016 at 17:29 #36616Gary Fulgham That code did not work either Zed. Thanks tho. I am not sure why I cannot put an image background in the content area. I have never had this difficulty before. SIGH Gary May 7th, 2016 at 11:07 #36629Zed Cryout Creations mastermindI see the styling eventually worked. If you just wanted the content background to be transparent (so the site background is visible behind the text), you could have done that by simply leaving the theme’s content background color field empty in the settings.
