Hi there,

I am using SmartSlider 3 with shortcodes. I know WordPress does not support shortcodes in category editor. I tried a few plugins which promised to solve this but none of them worked.

The solution provided on https://webgilde.com/en/shortcode-not-working-category-description/ works with limitations – functions.php doesn’t seem to be the appropiate file.

1) How can I implement a static header picture (as seen on post pages)?
2) How can I implement a (dynamic) slider as a header picture?
3) Is there any way to make shortcodes work on category pages?
