There is an image where the header image should be on my website, yet it doesn’t show up as the header image, therefore making it impossible to remove. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? Or other places where you can edit what goes there that I may be missing?

You site appears to be using the header background image, which is configurable in WordPress in Appearance > Header.
