Hi,
I downloaded and installed your basic theme but it doesn’t matter what I try none of my posts show up. The only thing that has worked so far is the editing of the About page. Is your theme way to complex for a newbie like me?
Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong. I can’t get anything to change on the presentation page.
If I’m trying to use a theme above my capabilities – that’s ok – just tell me and I’ll see if I can find another more aligned with my skill level.
Thanks for your help guys.
Cheers
Alan
March 4th, 2013 at 03:17 #4027MayaHi Alan,
Go to Dashboard > Mantra Settings > Presentation Settings > You can enable presentation page and it will become your Home Page. Click on Extras > expand Extra Text and edit Text here. If you just started blogging, maybe you consider disabling the Presentation page and keeping the recent blog posts on your Home page – you can always add the Presentation page later when you have more images and text.
I hope you find this helpful,
Maya
March 6th, 2013 at 04:01 #4066AlanThank you very much Maya, that was very helpful. I can now edit my front page. Still don’t understand why the published posts do not show up on the actual ‘Blog’ page. Any idea why that would be the case or do I require a certain number of posts before they appear there.
I will try to disable the presentation page and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks again for your help.
