Possible bug in author pages! If you look at them, there is some broken HTML in the top of the page.

See:

This is the html being generated:

<img class="header-image" alt="Author: <span class="vcard">Kelly</span>" src="http://www.rockrunrelax.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/cover1.jpg" />

You can see that the “alt text” for the author appears to have html being output into it, which is breaking the site.

weird. the html I’m posting is being trimmed by this editor, but you can see the problem stilI.

Ok, the bug is in/below the_archive_title(); which is called in fluida_header_image() in core.php. When the alt tag is populated for an author page, it does something weird!

I’m overriding with a child theme fix/hack (just not populating the alt tag for the header)

Would this have an effect on Google Analytics? I ask because mine was literally severed on the 9th for no apparent reason, so I’m not getting feedback on it anymore (Analytics say I’m dead in the water, WordPress say I’m getting hits)

I can see your google analytics tag in your front page fine? Have you fixed it? Or is it a different page that isn’t reporting?
