Is there a way to add a photo of the author which wrote a blog/article ?

One of my bloggers posted an article : http://amsterdamtouristguide.com/the-secret-annex/
Below her name there is a grey image on the left of her name. But we added photos on Gravatar and thought that it would show that photo, but it appear that it doesnt work.

Can you explain to me how I can add photos to my bloggers profile which show up with the article ?

I thought this would change to the authors picture as well. We don’t use Gravatar so I am glad to know that is not the issue.

The email address used on the site account and on the Gravatar account need to match (you can associate multiple emails with a single account on Gravatar) and the appropriate option needs to be enabled in WordPress’s settings as well for the pictures to be displayed.

Ah, so it is tied into Gravatar. Too bad. Would be a nice feature to have without having to depend on Gravatar.

And which settings do I need to change where ?

Because my wordpress login email and my gravatar login email are the same.
And I cant find any way to change the settings.

I think that option is in WordPress’ Discussion settings.
