In the “gallery” section of Nirvana, I add a thumbnail and full size image.
When I click on it, it opens the lightbox overlay but there are 3 copies of each image(one after another, not displaying together or side by side, just to be clear!).
eg: 3 thumbnails in gallery gives me 9 images in lightbox slideshow.
Any ideas what might be causing these multiples to be created?

Galleries and lightbox are not part of the theme. If you only see one image on the page/post but get more images in the lightbox popup, you should investigate the plugin (or try a different plugin).
