I am working on thebrainbeat.com My client would like a 3 column homepage layout, which I have achieved. However, she would like the center column to auto populate with “latest blog” posts, and the right column to auto populate with “portfolio” posts. I have created categories for both types, but how do I set the page up to show each category in its respective column?

Such a layout cannot be obtained with existing theme or WordPress functionality. You’d need to use either a content builder plugin or manually (with code) create blocks / shortcodes / templates for the desired layout and content.
