Hello,
As the title suggest the sub menus are not working since I updated to 1.5.5…
Have you noticed this? Is there any setting I have to change to get the sub menus working again?Thank you,
Vasil KrastevWebsite: vaskion.com

Try clearing the cache and force refreshing the browser.

When I use Chrome and click on a submenu the menu hides and gets immediately expanded again and nothing else happens. When I tried Chrome on another laptop the sub menus work but the corresponding menu gets expanded again after I click on a sub item.
When I use FireFox or IE I have to click twice on the sub menu for it to take effect. The first time it just does nothing – only the menu hides.
On mobile version everything is OK.
I also use Anima theme on another site of mine and with its menus everything is OK. I also tried to switched the Anima site to Fluida too but the same error appeared right on the Live Preview…Do you have any idea what can I do to fix it? Should I wipe all settings and restore them? Will switching themes will work?
June 11th, 2018 at 16:51 #64871theukwedeventPower UserHi I’m having the same issue.
It is affecting Chrome which is not opening the sub menu options and it takes two clicks in IE as reported by the other poster.

June 13th, 2018 at 16:01 #64918Mike CreightonPower UserI can wait for you to issue an update (if it’s not too long) – although my installation keeps wanting me to update to 1.5.5 even though I have 1.5.5 installed!?
Many thanks

June 21st, 2018 at 15:58 #65194Hello,
I think I found a temporary solution until the next theme update that will fix the issue. At least it seems to be working on my site. Try it for yourself and see if it works for you too:
Open the following file: ‘./wordpress/wp-content/themes/fluida/resources/js/frontend.js’
In function ‘fluida_menu_animate()’ (line 66) go to line 88. The code should look like this:jQuery('#access ul').find('a').on( 'focus blur', function() { jQuery( this ).parents( '.menu-item, .page_item' ).toggleClass( 'menu-hover' ); });
Comment these 3 lines (88, 89, 90), delete browser cache and reload the page.
Hope this temporary fix will help for you too!
Best Regards,

We cannot recreate the reported problem in either Firefox or Chrome and as the 1.5.5 update includes changes to the menu script, caching may play a role.
If you’re having issues with the menu functionality after this update please let us know (with a site that is exhibiting the issue) so we can take a look at it.

July 29th, 2018 at 15:53 #66735JacquesCePower UserI am also experiencing exactly the same in Chrome, Edge and IE both : sub-menu taking two or more clicks to open. This happen on my 2 sites using Fluida : http://www.jeunes-lettres.org and http://www.ebookhi.com
Fluida used is the last update
It is a big problem because both sites are not usable by my users which think that my sites are not operatings.
I have tried to clear all datas on every browser (including cache and cookies etc…), but no positiv effect on the bug.Website: www.jeunes-lettres.org

October 5th, 2018 at 23:13 #68978Kendell NewmanPower UserWe have been having the same/similar issues with submenus in Fluida Plus on multiple sites. When will 1.5.6 be available for Plus? Thanks!
October 18th, 2018 at 16:17 #69461ZedCryout Creations mastermindKendell, we’ve released version 1.5.6.1 of Fluida Plus at the beginning of August. Check that your licence key is entered on the site (to enable automatic updates), or manually download the latest version from your account.

My mobile menu won’t open, my submenu won’t open (which I just removed in the meantime), and my accordion short codes won’t work (Shortcodes Ultimate Plugin). I’ve tried disabling plugins, using different browsers, with no luck. Is there anything I can do?
