Layout

The options described here are located in the theme's Layout » General Layout panel on the Customize screen.

Controls the general theme layout and sidebar(s) presence and position.

Layouts

The main layout does not apply to the Landing Page section, which never displays any sidebars. Individual pages and Posts (Plus only) can be assigned different layouts using the available meta layout options.

Theme alignment

The wide choice makes the theme structural elements' backgrounds fill up the entire screen width, while boxed limits all the theme's elements to fit in the configured general site width.

The theme provides 4 distinct options for controlling both the content alignment in the browser window and its width:

  • left contained will display the site left-aligned and contain all layout sections within the configured site width
  • left will display the site left-aligned but allow specific layout sections to flow the full width of the screen
  • center contained will display the site center-aligned and contain all layout sections within the configured site width
  • center will display the site center-aligned but allow specific layout sections to flow the full width of the screen

Widths

Site Width

Controls the total site maximum width (including the sidebars, if enabled by the layout). When sidebars are used, the width of the actual content can be calculated by subtracting the configured sidebar(s) width(s).

Controls the left sidebar width (when enabled by the layout). On layouts with both sidebars on the same side of the content, this controls the left-most sidebar.

Controls the right-most sidebar width (when enabled by the layout). On layouts with both sidebars on the same side of the content, this controls the right-most sidebar.

VE

Controls the theme's sidebar/menu/widgets area width (when enabled by the layout).

Stretch Sidebar to Edge

VE

Force-strech the sidebar background color to the side of the screen.

Responsiveness Trigger Limit

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls the screen width under which the standard desktop navigation is replaced with the mobile menu. Increase this value to apply the mobile menu earlier and avoid having the main menu span multiple lines when it no longer fits in the available screen space.
