Header Content

The options described here are located in the theme's Header » Content panel on the Customize screen.

Site Header Content

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls what is displayed in the theme's site title location. Possible options are:

  • Site Title will display the configured site title (set in WordPress' General Settings or Identity panel)
  • Logo will display the assigned logo image (set in the Site Identity panel)
  • Logo & Site Title will display both the logo and site title
  • Empty will display neither of the two and leave the respective area empty in the site header

Show Tagline

An additional option controls the visibility of the tagline (displayed below the logo/site title).

Tip

The site title and tagline can also be disabled from WordPress' built-in options, available in the Site Identity panel. Those options take precedence over the theme's and will hide the elements regardless of the options set here.

Title Accent Position

BR

Controls the position of the background rectangle accent behind the site title. Set to 0 to make the background effect cover the entire title or a large enough value to remove it.

Header Title Animation

BR

Controls the animation effect applied to header titles on all site sections.

Fullscreen header image

BR

Forces the header image (and homepage banner image) to always fill up the entire visible screen. Require the use of a large enough image and an appropriate Header Image Height value, otherwise loss of quality may be observed.

Title Accent

FL

Controls the position of the accented letter in the site title. Can be set to 0 to disable the accent effect.

Top Sections Order

RO

Controls the layout of the header sections: for normal the widget area is located on the left side with the Top Navigation on the right side of the logo; reversed swaps the two.

Header Image Height

VE SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls the header image height. This value is used when assigning a site-wide header image and on the generated featured header images (if the Featured Images in Header option is used).

Tip

Since version 4.5 WordPress allows skipping the crop step, resulting in the ability to use header images of any size. Featured images used in the header are always cropped.

Important

It is necessary to regenerate thumbnails for existing library images after changing these values.

Header Image Behaviour

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls how the header image is displayed and/or cropped when displayed:

  • Contained forces the image to resize to fit in the configured site width and header height. Depending on the ratio of the header image width/height, the resulting image may be displayed taller or shorter than the configured header height.
  • Cropped trims the header image width to fit the configured site width (or screen width, whichever is smaller) while maintaining its height.

Header Image Overlap

ES

Controls how much the main content will overlap the header image. The value and measurement unit depends on the Header Image Behaviour option above.

Header Widget

The header widget area is displayed on top of the header image.

The header widget area is only displayed when a header image is present.

Width

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls the header widget area width. Can be adjusted to 25%, 33%, 50%, 60% or 100% of the header width (equal to the site width).

Alignment

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls the alignment of the header widget area content. Can be used to configure the position the widget is displayed.

Use Assigned Menu Title

VE

Replaces the generic Menu label with the menu title set for the currently assigned main navigation menu.

VE

Controls the visiblity of the main navigation items bullets.
