Menu Locations

Menus are core WordPress functionality which can be administered either through the Menus section in the dashboard or the Menus panel in the customize screen. The themes include multiple menus locations which can be used to display menus in several places.

Primary Navigation

VE SE RO KA FL ES AN

This is the main menu location for most themes. It is located in the header part of the theme and is an integral part of the design (sharing header space with the site identification - logo/title - and the header image).

This is the only navigation location that supports hierarchical (drop-down) menus.

Important

By default the main navigation will display the automatically generated (hierarchical) pages menu. You can create and assign your own custom menu in this location to control the content and structure of this menu.

Newer updates add the Default Pages Menu option to control the auto-generation.

Primary/Side Navigation

BR

This is the theme's main menu location. It is open by the hamburger icon in the header and covers the entire site. When open it also displays the site title/logo, the header socials and the Side Section widget area.

Header Navigation

BR

This is a theme-specific menu location that is displayed at the top of the header. It is not designed to be used as the main navigation location of the site.

Top Navigation

RO

This is a theme-specific menu location that is also displayed in the header and is interchangeable with the Top Section widget area.

Side Navigation

ES

This is a theme-specific menu location that is displayed in the slide-in side bar.

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

This is a menu location found in the left theme sidebar. This location is only visible when the configured layout displays the left (primary) sidebar.

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

This menu location is placed in the lower part of the footer, below the dedicated footer widgets area. It can be used to display a secondary minimalist menu on the site.

Social Icons

VE SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

This is a special purpose menu location, intended only for the use of the dedicated social menu. The menu associated here will be automatically used in all enabled social icons locations.
